Final Club Assembly for 2008/2009 Rotary Year

The last Club Assembly for the year was hosted by Ambassador Jeff Hart in his home.

This is a special club assembly because it signifies the end of the year, the end of the district and a new beginning for the club.

Two new members were inducted also, one came with his spouse and the other one came alone.

We were treated to great meal. We also saw not very active Rotarians making sure they were there, not just there but also on time. It was great!!!

Rotary Club of Wuse Cantral just sponsored the Chatter of a new Club

Rotary Club of Wuse Central, Abuja, just sponsored the chatter of Rotary Club of Abuja, Gwarinpa. This feet was achieved with the help of members of Wuse Central, the willing new Rotarians from Gwarinpa and the resilience of Chidi Onuogu who never gave up when the going got very tough.

The chatter presentation was done by the District Governor, Rotarian Dele Sampson, who will be the last District Governor for the District because from 1st July 2009, it will become District 9125, Nigeria.

On hand to give support as he has always done is the incoming First District Governor of District 9125, Kazeem Mustapha, who hopes the new club will emulet their sponsors, WUse Central and become as strong, if not stronger. The chatter presentation was done at same time that world leaders where attending a conference to mark the end of the World War....amazing, isnt it? Yes, Rotary is all about Peace, love and friendship.
