Rotary District 9125

The new Rotary District in Nigeria which was formerly District 9120 and District 9130 merged together and attended their first outing with the Presidents Elect Training Seminar at Tahir Guest Palace, Nassarawa GRA, Kano and Rotarians were really treated like Presidents in a real Palace.

This is one of the BEST trainings witnessed in the two Districts. There was no cutting down to save anything like time or whatever, and everyone sat and participated in the training for as long as it went without feeling any urge to leave.
Hard questions were asked, life situations treated, and everyone was motivated enough to enjoy and be happy to belong to this big family of Rotary.

The Assistant District Governors were trained, the Incoming Club Presidents were trained, and the incoming Club Secretaries and other Rotarians were also trained one day specially. Some few incoming Presidents that did not make the Seminar will be lucky to enjoy the largess of the incoming district Governor, who will go back on his word of not inducting them, but will arrange special training for them in his large conference room in Abuja.
This tells everyone that Rotary must be done the right way in the new district.
Rotarians were encouraged to contribute to Every Rotarian Every Year to a minimum of $100 per annum...who can’t afford this in a year???? No one!!!!

Rotary Foundation Contribution was called for, from those who are yet to join the Paul Harris Fellow Club (when you contribute a minimum of $1,000 USD) to help rotary with kicking out Polio from countries like Nigeria, etc:

Rotary Club of Wuse Central as usual, is already setting a glowing pace in this regard by targeting to become the First 100% PHF Club in Abuja, already, 70% of its membership are already PHF members and we are still counting and hopefully, this all important target will be met.
Wuse Central is a club of very young Rotarians who are all very active in their different fields of endeavor. The try to start and finish at least, two community service projects every year.
How can you encourage them? Send your suggestions.
